If' you're familiar with Chuck Lorre, you'll know that he's been writing Vanity Cards for years.
Recently, he decided to stop but I heard that he's re-thinking that decision. Of course, in today's world, nothing goes away. These short, funny quips are still out there.
I've always enjoyed reading these little snippets when I see them. Absurdity can be hilarious but this card reminds me of a few things;
- The center of the universe is not mine to claim.
- All good gifts come from God.
- I owe thanks for each and every one of these gifts no matter how obvious, no matter how obscure.
PS. I was going to stop there, but then on this very day, I get one of those "Insightful Advice" emails. Read a very interesting take on today's topic written by Sasha Dichter called Layers.
